This policy explains how Related Code Kft. ("Related Code", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects data. It covers the relatedcode.com website and the Related Code tools that use Google APIs, including the Google Ads API.

Who we are

Related Code Kft. is a software company based in Budapest, Hungary. We are the data controller for the data described here. You can contact us at info@relatedcode.com.

Data we collect on this website

• Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies. It collects anonymous data, such as the page address, referrer, browser, device type and country.
• Server logs: our host, Vercel, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website.
• Email: if you email us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies on this website.

Google Ads API and Google user data

Related Code uses the Google Ads API to manage and report on the Google Ads accounts of Related Code Kft. Our tool connects with a Google Cloud service account. The account owner gives this access in Google Ads and can remove it at any time.

Through the Google Ads API, our tool can access:

• account details, such as account name, currency and time zone;
• campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets and their settings;
• performance reports, such as impressions, clicks, costs and conversions;
• planning data, such as keyword ideas and traffic forecasts.

We use this data only to:

• create, change and monitor our own ad campaigns;
• build reports about our advertising results;
• research keywords and plan future campaigns.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not share it with third parties, except when the law requires it. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train general AI or machine learning models.

Related Code's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we store and protect data

We keep API credentials secret and store them only on secured company systems. Only authorized Related Code staff can access the data. We keep Google Ads data only as long as we need it to manage our advertising, then we delete it.

How to remove access

A Google Ads account owner can remove our access at any time in Google Ads, under Admin → Access and security. You can also ask us to delete data we hold by emailing info@relatedcode.com.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to limit or object to its use, and to get a copy of it. To use these rights, email us. You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, NAIH (naih.hu).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
